birchbox - april review !

Hey lovlies-
Today I was super excited when my April Birchbox came in the mail! This month's box is themed Tiny Tweaks, Big Results by Women's Health magazine.

Here us what us included:
• Caudalie® | Divine Oil -- full size price, $9-49
• Nexxus® | Youth Renewal Rejuvenating Elixir -- full size price, $20.99
Ruby Wing | Color Changing Nail Polish in Poppy -- full size price, $10
• Whish |Shave Crave Shaving Cream -- full size price, $20
EXTRA
simple | Revitalizing Eye Roll-On
Women's Health Subscription -- FREE!

As this is only the first day, I have only tried two of the products. I used the Nexxus hair serum and the simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On. My thoughts so far are mixed on the Nexxus, because I've had my hair in a messy bun all day (What? It's Saturday!) and I like the simple Roll-On so far. It has a tingly, cool feeling when you put it on. I don't see any results so far, but I'll get back to you guys on that in a few weeks.

Be sure to look out for reviews!
Love you all,

review: theBalm Put a Lid On It Eyelid Primer

For Christmas I got a sample of theBalm's Put a Lid On It Eyelid Primer. When I misplaced my Laura Gellar Waterproof Eye Spackle (oops!), I started using this primer. I had never used a primer before this past year, but I have found now that I can hardly go without one. It improves the staying power and color payoff so much. Personally, I find that my eyelids are prone to crease throughout the day. This usually happens between 3-5 hours I would say.

purchase full size here!
I really love this primer. The actual product has a beige-y tinge to it but once you smooth it onto your eyelids, it goes on clear. I've found that the staying power of this primer is about 6-8 hours. I think this is a great amount of time and can guarantee that it will last throughout the school/work day.

The only downside to this product is that I found, when applied to sensitive/dry eyes, it tends to sting a little. For a while I was having an issue with my eyes watering which in turn caused my lids and outer corners to be a little dry and irritated. If you don't have a problem with dry/irritated eyelids then I highly recommend this product.

Hope this helps!

birchbox - february review !

Hey all!
I'm very excited because I got my February birchbox in the mail today. I'll go over everything that was inside of it below and tell you what I'm most excited about this time around! Also, keep your eyes out for reviews on some of the products in the boxes as well.

   February Box:
• Jouer | Matte Moisture Tint -- full size, $38
• Lancôme | Hypnôse Star Mascara -- full size, $28
• SKIN&Co Roma | Cleansing Body Gel with Olive & Sicilian Orange Extracts -- full size, $17.50
• Vasanti | Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator  -- full size, $34
EXTRA
• Ghiradelli's Milk & Caramel Square

This month's theme was RED CARPET READY, in preparation for all the awards going on in the month of February. The product I'm most excited to use in the  Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara because of all the good things I have heard about Lancôme.
